Checking in from Astan

Hey ya'll. I just got a new room with internet and I thought I would post a quick update. I am now at my final location in Afghanistan. I'm trying to get settled into this new room and at the same time learn my new job. Basically I attend meetings at various places and ask a lot of questions and then pass the info I learn up to my bosses. really I'm just a glorified research assistant to them. The only good part is it is relatively nice where I'm at compared to some of the other places I've been in this country. The other good part is I'm away from the flag pole. Which basically means I don't have to listen to these guys here if I don't want to. Thank you to everyone for your prayers and support. -Ben

Hunter's cute hair!

Well, I suppose that it's time the Feicht Family enters the world of blogging. So much has been going on in the past couple of weeks and this is a great way to keep up with everyone! First, thank you for all of your prayers, we definately appreciate them! It's been a crazy time, but we are all getting settled into our new homes. Ben made it safely and is working on getting integrated into his new job. He doesn't have internet in his room, but he will try to keep in touch as best as he can. Hunter and I are safe in IL at my parents house, we are so grateful for the help that we have had in moving and getting settled in. Hunter is definately missing his Daddy, but he is adjusting as well as we can hope for! He finally seems to be getting some teeth, so he has been a bit fussy the past few days. Other than that, we are just waiting for our house to sell and praying that it will be as quick as possible. We did have an offer this week, but they didn't accept our counter offer. Hopefully next time! Anyway, I'm off to bed before Hunter wakes up again. Hopefully we can keep up this blog! -Em
